The Hornets moved one step closer to their goal tonight as they defeated a feisty George Elliot 68-48.
The Coyotes came out strong as they jumped out to and 11-6 run only to have SOSS finish out the quarter on an 8-2 run to win the first quarter 14-13.

The second quarter was a little more successful for the hornets as they pushed the lead to 7 at half 31-24. The hornets who were playing without Blake Miller Yuckin, also lost the services of Gurshan Dhaliwal for most of the 2nd and third due to an ankle injury, during that period the Hornets sputtered but eventually got it going as the they pushed the lead to 21 late in the fourth with the return of Dhaliwal. The final score was 68-48.

Hornet were led by Austin Basso with 19 and Gurshan Dhaliwal with 13. All in all it was a good game for SOSS who will now face Princess Margaret SS in the finals tomorrow night at 6:30 in the Oliver gym.
