CAO for the Kootenay village of Nakusp, Linda Tynan has been hired by the Council of the District of Summerland to fill the top administrator’s post.

Nakusp population +1500. Summerland population +11,000.

Summerland has been operating an interim CAO since the departure of Tom Day at Christmas.

Ms. Tynan will take over April 1st. She is originally from Burnaby but attained the position of CAO in Nakusp in 2011.
