A judge in Penticton has ordered a change in venue because of security concerns by the Sheriff’s Service.
Both defence and crown lawyers consented to the move as security at the Princeton courts lacks flexibility.
Crown lawyer John Swanson said 3 persons will be called for an upcoming preliminary hearing but the matter will go to Supreme court for trial as both parties have consented to a committal.
Date for that hearing to be set this week. The accused James Buehler remains in custody.
