Shirley Bond will be in the Okanagan this week to get a first-hand look at job creation and investment in the area.
The minister of jobs, tourism and skills training and minister responsible for labour is making stops in Kelowna and Penticton to recognize local companies that hire apprentices, and she will be joined by local Industry Training Authority apprenticeship advisorĀ Finbar O’Sullivan.

Okanagan MLAs Norm Letnick, Steve Thomson and Dan Ashton will also be in attendance. Both Letnick and Bond will show for a meeting with RDOS directors as well at their regular get-to-gether on Thursday.
