Kelowna – Police are looking for public assistance in identifying a suspect after two women were assaulted in late January.
On January 19, 2015 at 10:19 pm, the Kelowna RCMP received a report of suspicious circumstances on the 2000 block of Pandosy Street. An unknown male suspect was apparently hiding in the bushes when a 24-year-old Kelowna woman and a 15-year-old Kelowna girl walked past. The suspect reportedly rushed out of his hiding spot, ran between the two young women and slapped their buttocks before fleeing through the bushes to a waiting vehicle.
Neither the girl nor the woman suffered any physical injuries.
The suspect was seemingly dressed like a comic book superhero, wearing what appeared to be silver underwear over a red body suit with a red balaclava.
The vehicle was described as a smaller dark-coloured four-door car, which left the scene headed towards downtown Kelowna.
