I said OMG – they have their clothes on!

Concern over use of a popular Penticton beach by nudists/naturists doesn’t appear to be going away.

A website titled 3milebeach.com shows people wearing shorts and other warm weather garb, some are not wearing anything.

“The website went up because people were illegally exposing themselves on private and public property. There are recorded incidents of vandalism and theft,” said an unnamed person involved with the site.

“None of the people in the videos live in the area. The neighbourhood does not want this group and they simply want to protect their children in this residential community.”

The beach has been known as an unofficial clothing optional destination since the 1950s.
