S/S Kurt Lozinski has been promoted to a position of top operations manager of the Penticton City Detachment.
Lozinski transfers from a rural assignment of managing all detachments in the Regional District – Princeton, Keremeos, Summerland, Oliver and Osoyoos – and all the land between.
Both the Oliver and Osoyoos detachments will get new lead officers.
Oliver’s Sgt. Ken Harrington retired in February.
Sgt. Kevin Schur of Osoyoos will take a post in Kelowna.
The rural based supervisory position will be assumed by S/S Kirsten Marshall, present detachment chief in Smithers. Marshall first served in Chetwynd, Williams Lake and Kitimat. She is the daughter of an RCMP officer. Both announcements made by Regional Superintendent Kevin Hewco.
