Young Sally Brown is happy tonight. RCMP returned her wallet – found in a snow bank on Airport Street.

Brown says thanks the person who spotted it and handed it into police. The money really didn’t mean anything in comparison to the value of identification and other material in wallet. Sally she thinks of herself as being young as her mother is 98 and still living in Oliver.

On 2015-01-16 the manager of Buy Low Foods in Oliver contacted police to report that a customer, had her wallet stolen off the counter while she was in the store.

In-store video depicts a male standing behind the 78 year old female victim and appears to represent that he pocketed her wallet when she turns away to pay for her groceries. This subject of interest was wearing a red and black bomber style jacket and a black toque, male and a days growth of facial hair.

Oliver RCMP are looking for help in finding the male.
