The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died at Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre on Jan. 19, 2015.
The man was Daryl Vic Belseck, aged 52, an inmate at the facility.
Listed as being from Penticton – serving sentence for mischief and assault
Mr. Belseck was discovered deceased in his cell by staff at the facility on Monday morning
The BC Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Belseck has been notified of his death.
2nd such death in 10 weeks – Dylan Judd, from the Shuswap, was found unresponsive in his cell during morning checks on Nov. 10. He was charged with possessing stolen property and being unlawfully in a house in Sicamous and was on remand.
