It was an intense game Saturday that the Hornets never trailed in, and at times led by as much as 15, only to have the Osoyoos Rattlers cut the lead to 1, 4,and 6.
The SOSS got good offensive of movement but their defense at times was lazy and they were not supporting each other the way theyshould. All in all another victory in a not so glamorous game, one in which I believe the Hornets felt they could win easily, and it likely they could have if they would have played a cleaner t…eam game.
The final score was 82-75 as the Hornets allowed Osoyoos to score 7 unanswered points in the final minute of play. The team is looking better each game but in order for them to make a run at the valleys and do some damage at the provs is going to take some soul searching on their part on how they want to play the game.
Gurshan Dhaliwal, Blake Miller Yuckin, and Raj Bahniwal all had 15 points, Anmol Malhi added 12 followed by Austin Basso with 9.
