Carroll is a single mother with two children attending Okanagan College in Penticton, with a goal of achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Trina realized she had very little knowledge on how to handle her finances. With an insight that comes from personal experience, Trina recognized the need for a program to teach basic financial skills to single parents. Through her participation in the organization‘Enactus”, at the College, she developed a program “MOMentom” that educated single mothers how to understand finances, and to manage their meager budgets for the best results.
