Electric heat as it is the only available source here on Anarchist. Had wood heat in a former life, but decided against it when we moved here: too much work and insurance more expensive. Billing unfair so signed the petition.

We do not pay world price for oil in Canada. Price at the pump in Europe reflects world price ( $2.00 CAD/litre in London England).

I am more interested in fair trade…

I mostly go to the USA to pick up items I have bought online from US companies which do not deliver to Canada or offer free delivery to a US address. This happens 3 or 4 times a year, mostly before XMas.

Depends on his work, which is done mostly on line. He has trouble “remembering” to look where the mouse cursor is before clicking, which results in a number of expletives and a plaintive “Hélène…”. I have then to come to the rescue.

We are Habs fans.

Choice limited up here: Satellite TV and wireless internet. Radio is permanently on CBC. I get my internet news in many places, including the New York Times and French Networks, all of which have their drawbacks, but altogether give me a good picture of what is happening locally and worldwide.

I live on a private drive with the name of “Observatory Road”. Yes we do have an observatory.
