Update: www.okfallsdailynews.com – Penticton RCMP confirm that one female has been airlifted to Kelowna as a precautionary measure but otherwise it appears there are no serious injuries following the crash south of OK Falls.

A two-vehicle accident, with one vehicle heading southbound and the other northbound collided after what appeared to be one vehicle crossing the centre line. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.

Report one: Major accident just south of OK Falls.

Report two: Hwy 97 was closed in both directions from north of the south end of Oliver Ranch Rd to OK Falls. Detour is in effect on Oliver Ranch. Saw many flashing lights, and there is no doubt it’s a major and serious accident on the hwy.
