Speaking of OK Falls – I am told the bandshell project is now fully funded and the first nail should be driven into wood in the next 30 days – yes there will be an official ribbon cutting for all those that don’t hammer nails.

Objectives: To provide a safe and secure structure for community arts and cultural events.

Since the concrete work for the band shell in Centennial Park is complete, the erection of walls and roof will be done as soon as funding allows. The project is shovel ready. Once the structure is in place, it is estimated there will be a great number of events using the facility yearly. Community use of the structure will continue throughout the life of the building.
