Rowlands and her husband do not have an internet connection so her application for a math uprade course was made at the downtown campus facility. Miles Derksen, facilitator helps Jasishmeen Brar with her Photoshop course that she is taking at YouLearn. Jasihmeen is missing some credits for completion of Grades 11 and 12 because of a recent  trip to India.

Staff at YouLearn.ca were quick to point out that many optional courses not available at secondary schools in the area but can be completed by contacting YouLearn.ca Derik Hovind gets some sage advice on the availability of a horticultural course elsewhere in the Okanagan Valley. Hovind is finished high school and looking for a trade or area of instruction to upgrade his skills. Hindrich says open houses were held at the Oliver and Osoyoos campuses this week as a form of community outreach. He says the Oliver campus is in a new facility at the High School and attracted a lot of seniors interested in the new offices in the Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
