The disappearance of Roxanne Louis is now a murder investigation.

Grace Elinor Robotti, 65, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Roxanne Louie.

A second suspect, Pier Louis Robotti, 61, has been charged with interference with a dead body and accessory after the fact to murder.

Both accused will appear in court again on Thursday.

Police say Robatti is the mother-in-law to the victim. One source says the two person charged turned themselves into police.

Louie was home in the South Okanagan visiting for the holidays, had been missing more than 7 days after failing to show up for a flight back to Vancouver.
