5th Annual Lose it for life – Back by popular demand – spaces still available!
The “ Lose it for Life” Fitness Challenge is a holistic approach to setting realistic weight loss goals by providing tips, opportunities and incentives to increase your level of physical activity and fitness, focus on healthy daily nutrition and build self-esteem for life. This program is designed to support those who are struggling with their weight and need extra support and training to make the necessary changes to see lasting results. The 2014 program had a total group weight loss of 400 pounds!!
$125.00 fee includes the following: 3 month weight room access, nutrition plan, 10 punch pass, free access to wellness seminars, professional trainer and nutritionist and Train with the Trainer sessions.
Kyokushin Karate has started this week – it’s not too late to register! $150.00/returning members and $185.00 for new students. This program runs Tuesday/Thursday evenings 7-8:30pm, starting Jan 6 – May 12. For more detailed program information, please contact Mike Riplinger at 498-7513. Tiny Toes Ballet (ages 3-4) and Pre-Primary Ballet 4:00-4:30 ( ages 5-9) starts Jan 13th and runs until March 17th.

Family Shinny Hockey

This is a non-competitive hockey experience for elementary school –aged children and their accompanying adults. Required gear includes a CSA approved full coverage helmet, hockey stick, gloves and personal protection. Pre-registration for all family members who will be playing is required. The complete list of Family Shinny ice times is available at the Community Centre at time of registration.
