Three people are safe at home after getting lost while on an ATV trip north of Summerland Thursday night.

Penticton Search and Rescue coordinated a ground and air search to locate the two women and one man who had become lost in the Garnet Valley area.

First call at 5:20 p.m. and at 9:30 same night located signal fire temperatures. Temperature at location minus 11.

Searchers located the lost trio around midnight and effected the rescue.
