“Can the people of Oliver please be on the look out for a stolen 2013 Polaris Razor blue in color that taken from a rural property 2:30 am Saturday December 2nd. If anybody saw or heard any suspicious activity around the Road 9 or Black Sage Road please report to RCMP – Joe Bennett owner

Report from Oliver Detachment – “Penticton RCMP quickly recovered it.”

Great story of inter-detachment cooperation.

Third report to me: – “I can confirm that on December 6th the Oliver RCMP did receive a report of a stolen ATV (blue Polaris side-by-side). This vehicle has since been recovered.” Kris Clark – Kelowna RCMP regional media person.

Further checking with a senior officer at Penticton resulted in the following:

“A charge has not been approved by Crown Counsel. The recovery was made at a residence with four persons in the house. There is not a substantial likelihood of a conviction.”

Penticton RCMP today reporting the vehicle was recovered at a residence on Willow Street in Okanagan Falls.
