Item 8.1 broken into three motions

Agricultural Land Commission Exclusion and Inclusion Applications

Recommendation: THAT the Agricultural Land Reserve applications to adjust the ALR boundaries (a. include and b. exclude land), be withdrawn.

Both motions passed on a vote of 5 in favour one opposed (Councillor Peake) – one councilor Erin Carlson declared a conflict.

AND THAT Council direct staff to schedule a workshop early in 2015 to discuss options with respect to the other components of the Official Community Plan – Urban Growth Strategy amendment.

This motion passed unanimously.
