This letter is directed to the person who robbed the Oliver T-2 recycling depot recently.

Are you aware of the honesty and courtesy the owner and employees of this local business extend to their customers?  Have you ever considered the valuable service they provide to the town, surrounding area, and the environment as a result of their work?

It is near Christmas and you have stolen from a young family.  A man who has not taken a full day off in YEARS works very hard for his family.  One of his daughters, a graduate of SOSS,  may one day be responsible for saving your life as she is part of B.C.’s Life Flight program.  How will you feel then?  His other daughter, another distinguished graduate of SOSS, is studying cancer of the brain in hopes of easing the pain and suffering of this afflicted with this dreadful disease.  Her education is very expensive and now you have made her schooling even more difficult.  I hope you never need her medical treatment/advice as I would like to believe it would be difficult for you to look her in the eye.

I wonder when you decided to give yourself permission to steal from others…..
