Duly honoured – Chris Yerburgh

Meritiorious Service Medal (MSM) is the highest award given for ourstanding service to the Legion.

Back in 2008, Yerburgh received his Life Membership to the Legion – the 2nd highest award given for outstanding service and the MSM is for additional service since receiving that award.

South Okanagan and Similkameen Zone consisting of 10 Branches – West Kelowna, Peachland, Summerland, Penticton, OK Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Greenwood, Keremeos and Princeton. Rick Lundin of Osoyoos is the Zone Commander at this time and I am the Immediate Past Zone Commander.

Three people within the zone received the Medal, special membership pin and a scroll signed by the President of the Dominion Command of the Legion, Tom Eagles. Those three Lundin, Yerburgh and Brian Lobb of Osoyoos.

The service includes anything within the Legion as well as in the Community.
