On November 29th, 2014, at approximately 6:30AM, the Oliver RCMP received a report of a commercial alarm at the T2 Recycle Depot, located in the 5900 block of Sawmill Rd., in Oliver, BC.

Police attended, confirming that a break and enter had taken place.  The culprit(s) appeared to have entered through a skylight, were lowered with a rope, and were subsequently able to access a cash register located directly below the skylight.

Surveillance video of the incident shows a young caucasian male opening the cash register, taking a quantity of cash and then wiping down the area – presumably to clean any fingerprints. The male is then seen exiting through the main doors, and heading off on foot in an unknown direction.

Approximately $1200 was taken.  The matter is still under investigation.  Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact the Oliver RCMP at (250)498-3422 or the South Okanagan Similkameen Crimestoppers at 222-TIPS (8477).
