Princeton – Police are searching for a suspect after a bank was robbed Monday afternoon.
On December 1, 2014 at 2:50 pm, the Princeton RCMP received a report of a robbery at the CIBC located at 226 Bridge Street. The initial investigation suggests that a lone male suspect entered the bank, brandished a handgun, and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. A Police Service Dog established a track but the suspect could not be located.
The suspect is described as:
•Caucasian male
•late 20’s to early 30’s
•5 ft 10 in to 6 ft (178 cm to 183 cm)
•sandy hair
•medium athletic build
•wearing a black Canucks toque, black sunglasses, a dark jacket, dark cargo pants, brown loafer shoes and gloves.
Investigators are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect.
