Despite cold and strong north winds – the crowd came out Friday to celebrate the start of our holiday season in 2014.

Carolers, student singers, food, hot chocolate, clowns, face painting, colouring, inflatables, wine tastings, photos with the man from the north, chestnuts, bake sales, fire trucks and of course the elves and SANTA. Add to that Oliver Bucks shopping, munchie bags, great cookies, a bonfire and…….. fireworks to cap off the night.

Thanks to the Oliver Fire Department, Town of Oliver, Oliver Parks and Recreation, Oliver’s Youth Ambassadors, Oliver Business Association and the retail stores, businesses and organizations on Main Street.

Don’t miss Breakfast with Santa today, a free show in the afternoon at the Oliver Theatre and the Movember Drive Through at the Fire Hall on Sunday.
