An apartment complex in Okanagan Falls went up in flames early this morning, but everyone was able to get out safely.
Fire Chief Bob Haddow says the blaze began a couple of hours after midnight at a small two-unit complex on Main Street and 10th Avenue – the structure at the real a total loss.
High winds caused problems in fighting the blaze, says Haddow, but they were eventually able to knock down the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
Six people are said to have been living in the complex at the time of the blaze.
The apartments behind Ralph’s Furniture 1016 Main Street went up in flames this morning.
Fire crews from OK Falls and Kaleden responded at 2:30 a.m.
