One class in elementary school studying civic politics with teachers inviting a number of candidates to speak and be interviewed this week by students. The classroom will vote Friday to see who wins.

Questions ranged from million dollar budget items, covering the pool, noise in Oliver, skateboard park, “do you have a wife?”, what about smoking?, do you have a pet? to my favourite: “do you have any scars?”

Internal student polling also showed a preference for “NO National Park”
