Hunter Miller -SOSS grade 10 (how times flies*) student has been invited to attend the Alberta WE day Monday in Calgary.

His invitation has him arriving Sunday and attending a pre-show function for special guests.

Hunter had wanted to attend the same function in Vancouver last week but the number of seats was limited to 10 out of 52 for the whole school district.

His parents contacted the organizers in Alberta, explained the situation and Hunter’s special circumstances as a child cancer survivor and the grey cloud turned into a silver lining.

Administration staff at SOSS were contacted and stated they are happy for Hunter to get this special trip.
