2014 Local General Election
Nomination period begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 and ends at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2014. Fillable Nomination packages are now available on the internet or hard copies are available for pick up at the Town Office at 6150 Main Street.
The 2014 Local General Election will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Oliver Community Centre from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Advance Voting will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Oliver Community Centre.
There has been new legislation passed by the Province that has made changes to the Local Government Elections, with the two most significant ones being that the term for all positions will be for 4 years and the Campaign Financing Reporting will now be done through Elections BC.

Referenda – Frank Venables Theatre
One Assent Voting opportunity will occur in conjunction with the General Election on November 15, 2014. Voters in Electoral Area “C” and Town of Oliver will have an opportunity to vote in a referendum regarding the Frank Venables Theatre.
