Willowbrook Fire Chief Brad Fossett says nothing was left of the structure by the time firefighters arrived on the scene .
Fossett said it appeared the house had burned down, unnoticed, overnight. No one was home at the time.
“It was way out in the middle of the forest, off-grid,” he said. “A hunter found it in the morning.”
Firefighters including those from Ministry of Forest worked for over 3 hours soaking the one hectare site of fire to ensure it did not flare back up.
