Summerland council seats open up – two run for Mayor

Orv transferred to the Summerland RCMP in 1992 as the Detachment Commander. He retirement in 2004 after 35 years of service. He has been active in the community with volunteer service and as a member of many organizations.

Councillor Peter Waterman
Peter worked for the Ministry of Agriculture & Food for 25 years until 1997. He ran his own orchard from 1989-2005. Peter has been a resident of Summerland since 1978 and in 2005 he served a term as a Summerland Councillor. He ran once before for the position of Mayor.
