Crews from Willowbrook Fire Department returning to base after 3 and half hours up the Orofino Creek Rd. protecting the public from a spreading fire.

Source – small mobile home completely burnt to the ground about 4+ miles up the road.

Fire crews not recommending anyone go that far – fire or former structure not visible from the roadway.

RCMP say it is a crime scene – suspected arson after a break-in.

No owner or tenant at the scene according to authorities

Crews dispatched at 11 am and came down the hill at 2:30 pm after ensuring that the blaze would not spread to nearby trees and grassland. Ministry of Forests involved as well.
