New director of facilities hired for local School District.

School District No. 53 (Okanagan Similkameen) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Deborah Sansome to the position of Director of Facilities effective October 14th.

Debbie is currently the Director of Energy and Environment/Special Projects in School District No. 35 (Langley).  She has also held the position of Manager of Facility Operations covering transportation, trades and custodial services.

Ms. Sansome’s wide range of responsibilities and experience will be an asset as the Director for both School District No. 53 and No. 74 (Gold Trail) in this shared services position.
