Real Estate company trying to sell hill: G-Force has found an entrepreneur/manager who has significant experience in transforming a ski resort in a small community into a vibrant sustainable and profitable operation with significant benefits to the local community. Gary Powroznik, Managing Director of G-Force says “The operator we have found is one of the most impressive I’ve spoken to about solutions to the challenges traditionally facing regional ski resorts in smaller communities.”

G-Force is seeking a suitable investor or group to provide new capital and combine with the current major lender and the new operator to complete a sale of the Resort’s assets. “We are talking to potential investors. The ideal investor will already see, or could see, how a vibrant growing resort at Mount Baldy could leverage both commercial and intangible benefits for the local communities that it serves, ” said Powroznik.

The situation at Mt. Baldy is still unresolved. G-Force is a court approved sales agent authorized to sell the operation, there are numerous interested parties with various ideas. These parties are at various phases of completion with the frontrunner working through their last financial hurdles. Ultimately everyone involved shares the same vision and recognizes the importance of reopening the ski hill for this season, and simply must wait until financing is in place to proceed with work to prepare for the upcoming ski season.
