Ronald Teneycke was sentenced to nine months Monday in a Penticton courtroom for an incident involving flight from the police in March.
Teneycke, from Okanagan Falls, has been in custody since and was given credit for time served, meaning he is slated to be released.

During the early morning hours of Thursday Teneycke was arrested by a police officer on a rural road outside of Okanagan Falls. He was apprehended for failing to abide by a probation order and failing to stop for RCMP who stated the matter was under investigation.
Teneycke is often described by Crown Counsel in court as a violent sexual offebder with a long criminal past. He resided in Oliver briefly when released from a federal prison in 2008.
