On September 4, 2014 at 20:36 Hours Oliver RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle fire in an orchard off Sumac St, near Rd 5.  Oliver members had tried to stop and then locate the same truck, a White Ford F350 pickup which had been reported stolen earlier in the evening and had taken off on Keremeos RCMP members.

Suspects are well known to police however insufficient information is available to pursue charges at this point.
