Oliver forest fire (s.e. of town) has not grown any larger and is now fully contained.

According to BC Wildfire, there was a crew that worked until midnight to control the blaze last night.

13 firefighters will remain on scene today to continue with mop up work.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Ministry of Forest continue to clean up east of Nk’Mip Road on OIB land.
