Oliver Curling Club sent all our 43 year old curling stones back east this summer to have new “Hi Tech” inserts in the running surfaces of the stones – at a cost of multi-thousands of dollars. You can see them in the bottom surfaces of the stones in the photo. This will improve the speed of the rocks significantly and make throwing them far easier. We also made several other major improvements mainly new heaters to make it far more pleasant while curlers are playing.
