All the firemen have gone to work or home to a bed leaving police officers searching the rubble of an overnight fire at 6036 Station Street in Oliver.

Fire call at 3:30 am with crews staying for 4 hours. RCMP Identification section on the scene earlier taking material samples. Officers continue to search the burnt out rubble of what use to be a family home.

The occupants made themselves known around the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
