File 2014-4349 police look for public assistance identifying suspects
August 14, 2014 Oliver – Police are looking to identify three suspects after a local service station was broken into.
On August 14, 2014 at 4:21 AM an unknown person driving an older model Green Dodge diesel flat deck pick up accompanied by two unknown males made a brazen attempt to steal an ATM machine from a local service station. The driver of the flat deck repeatedly backed into the front door of the business and was able to create an opening for his cohorts. Once the door was breached two subjects, roughly described as:
Suspect #1
Orange mask – 5’6” – 5’8” 140-155 lbs
Suspect #2
Blue workman jacket – 5’11” – 6′ 160-170 lbs
Both suspects made several failed attempts to remove the ATM from the store. The three suspects subsequently fled the scene in the pick up and headed South toward Oliver along Highway 97.
At 04:31 AM the police responded to a second call on Pampas Grass Way (Seacrest Avenue), Oliver where on arrival it was determined that the vehicle that was used in the Break & Enter was on fire.
Police continue to investigate and are looking for Oliver community support in identifying these suspects and the owner of the pick up.
