PAC at Oliver Elementary is funding a replacement playground set up to replace what was taken down today.

The new unit costs almost $30,000. The group got quite a discount 40% and raise other funds for two years – including a movie night, a magic show and several cookie dough sales.

The PAC led by President Cory-Lee Mills (pictured at right) and Michelle Weisheit are looking for individuals and groups that might want to help with funding the last installment.

The Parents Advisory Committee says “We have approached all businesses in town, have organized numerous fund raisers and are planning more as soon as classes resume in September.”

This is the only playground on the west side of the highway in Oliver and will be a great addition to the community.
