Thank you to the community for taking an interest in our operations. Officially we are merely clearing a backlog of old bins that are beyond repair. They have no cash value and chipping is the cheapest and most environmentally friendly disposal method. We have an ongoing bin repair program and are also updating the inventory with new bins. In reference to apple tonnage in general, after some years of decline it has stabilized and we are expecting an increase this year after two years of record high prices.
