Federal Conservatives voted 573 to 76 for Marshal Neufeld of Penticton.

The new riding called South Okanagan-West Kootenay.

Losing was Rick De Jong of Westbank in a landslide.

Election is October 15 in 2015.

The Liberal Party also picked their candidate for this new federal riding – Connie Denesiuk of Summerland. She was elected by acclamation.
