A scheduled meeting in Osoyoos could not go ahead for lack of quorum according to RDOS Area A Director Mark Pendergraft.

The Area A Planning Commission is made up of:

Pendergraft – Area Director.

Senior planner Butler had come to the Sonora Centre to explain and seek feedback from the planning commission on the latest Regional District initiatives on Hwy 97 signage. But the meeting could not proceed.

Two other matters of a planning nature were referred from the main RDOS Board table but could not be discussed in detail and both matters will go back to the Regional District in Penticton this Thursday.

Those matters included the size and height of a fence around a pool at 2401-87th Street Osoyoos and a zoning matter for a larger piece of property south of Haynes Point Provincial Park at 2815 – 85th Street.
