We would like to add to the previous article regarding Bob and Trudy McKim. It was such a pleasure to meet this family. We were so touched by the efforts of their adult children Dean and Shelley, who immediately flew from Saskatoon and Yellowknife to assist their parents through this difficult transition. Bob and Trudy are very good people who suffered through an extremely traumatic experience.

The fact that this rock slide (not mudslide) would be their welcome to the Okanagan, is horrific. Imagine, you are an hour away from your new home, heading south, your moving truck a couple of vehicles behind, your car filled with personal belongings and suddenly a rock slide smashes into the side of your vehicle and sweeps you across the highway toward Okanagan Lake. Very fortunately no one was killed, but some major body and emotional trauma was the result.

We had the honor of conducting business with these nice folks.
