Last Wednesday in the wee hours of the morning members of the Oliver RCMP were dispatched to the South Okanagan General Hospital in response to a report of an assault with a weapon and attempted abduction of a 31 year old Oliver resident.

An investigation by officers resulted in the arrest of four adult Oliver males.  The offence appears to be targeted and risk to the Public should be considered as low.

All four males have been released on restrictive conditions and are due to appear at the Penticton Law Courts on Wednesday July 30th to answer to charges of:

Kidnapping, Assault with a weapon, Assault and Mischief Under $5,000
