NBN is SUPER excited to have Jessica Franz on the coaching staff this year

High School:Jess attended Elgin Park Secondary in Surrey. She won the 2008 AAA Provincial Championship and was a provincial all-star. Throughout high school Jess was a Team BC and Centre of Performance member.
College: In her 2 years playing at the college level, Jess was a 2x All-Canadian and PacWest MVP. She also led her team to a PacWest Championship and a 4th place finish at the CCAA National Championships in 2011.
University: After playing two years at the college level, Jess transferred to the University of Calgary where she played along side Coach Megs. In her time at U of C Jess helped lead her team to two consecutive 4th place finishes at the CIS National Championships. She was named a Canada West All-Star in her 5th year of eligibility, and helped her team achieve a Canada West regular season Championship.
Team Austria: Coach Jess played for the Austrian National team in the Summer of 2013. She led the team in scoring and to victorious finish during their exhibition tournament in Scotland. Jess recently declined the opportunity to play for the national team this summer to come home and coach.
Professionally: Coach Jess’s team finish #1 in the Austrian Champions League and #1 in the Austrian-Slovakian League and #3 in the Central European Women’s League.
