Conservative party members in the new federal riding of South Okanagan-West Kootenay will choose their candidate later this month.

Marshall Neufeld of Penticton and Rick deJong of Westbank have both had their nominations accepted by party officials. They were the only two candidates when nominations closed late last week.

Voting will take place from July 24 to 29 in communities throughout the riding, with the final meeting to be held in Penticton.
