What could be a worse event than losing your home and everything in it?  The Lalonde family did just that on June 21st when their Earl Crescent home was destroyed by fire.

Luckily, no one was hurt but the event is catastrophic to any family and must be a dreadful experience to lose all your possessions, including irreplaceable momentos and memorabilia.

In our small town the residents always hurry to assist in any way they can, we are a small community and we help one another through bad times.

To help in some small way, the Order of the Eastern Star will be holding a hot dog sale on Canada Day, Tuesday July 1st outside of Buy Low grocery store.  Enjoy your pancakes at the community park then come to Buy Low for a hot dog lunch and help support a family in distress.

Hot dogs with fried onions, will be served from 11.00 am until 2.00pm.  Come and make a donation to help the Lalonde family get back on it’s feet.
