Tourism Penticton has turned to the Osoyoos Indian Band for its new executive director.
Chris Bower begins his new role in Penticton on Monday, after spending the past 15 years with the OIB Development Corporation.
He succeeds Jessie Campbell who stepped down as head of Tourism Penticton in March.
Bower has lived in the Okanagan since 1992. He has worked for the Osoyoos Indian Band since 1996, mainly in tourism-related roles.
In his last position he served as the band’s business development officer for its southern region, including the Nk’Mip Resort.
